Master James Tosoff

Mr. James Tosoff – Chief Instructor Westcoast Taekwon-Do

Mr. James Tosoff holds a certified 4th Degree Black Belt and is the founder of Westcoast Taekwon-Do which was inaugurated Jan 4th 1993. Mr. Tosoff also holds Black Belts in Chinese based martial arts systems as well as Filipino martial arts. James Tosoff was a nationally ranked competitor and holds an undergraduate degree with the University of Victoria. Mr. Tosoff was a major contributor to the International Taekwon-Do Federation – Master’s Class Instructional DVD, with over 15 years of teaching experience and has networked with the finest martial arts schools in North America.

Chad Bellwood

Mr. Chad Bellwood – Brown Belt Instructor Westcoast Taekwon-Do’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Program

Chad holds a certified Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Carlos Santos – 3X World BJJ Champion. Chad brings with him extensive experience having traveled the globe training with the likes of Roger Gracie – World BJJ Champion, Relson Gracie and John Delao. Chad has also trained with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira – UFC & Pride Heavyweight Champion. To his credit Chad has competed in the highest level competitions such as the Abu Dhabi World Jiu Jitsu Pro earning a Silver Medal.

Sarah Watts

Miss Sarah Watts  Black Belt Instructor Westcoast Taekwon-Do

Sarah is our Little Ninja Instructor and she also helps teach our Basic Orientation classes. Sarah currently holds a certified 2nd Degree Black Belt. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help all students with whatever they need.

April Piluso

Miss. April Piluso – Assistant Instructor Westcoast Taekwon-Do

April is the newest member of our staff. She teaches the level 1, 2 and 3 pattern classes on Monday nights and assists everywhere else she may be needed. She currently holds the ranks of conditional black belt and she is only a few short weeks away from obtaining her first degree black belt. April is full of enthusiasm and always has words of encouragement to give to all our students.
